Corrosion Cell Kit

The corrosion measuring cell KMZ5 is a triple electrode water-jacket cell for standard electrochemical measurements with a cell container suitable for connection to constant temperature circulators.

The measuring cell has different cell tops with standard taper joints (NS) for the insertion of the working and the counter electrodes, as well as the intermediate vessel with reference electrode and liquid junction tube including a ""Haber Luggin capilary"". All electrodes have glass bodies with standard tapers. The cell features a user-friendly handling and a wide range of applications.

The SS-80-M is a Motorized adjustable slit for the input or output port of a Sciencetech monochromator. The slit width can be adjusted between 0-6mm using the computer controlled actuator. Sciencetech’s 201-100-D lamp housing allows for a vertically mounted 30W deuterium lamp. Such lamps produce a strong broadband UV output from 185-400nm despite its low wattage. The unit is forced air-cooled with a blower at the base that draws air from the top intake to the bottom of the housing. The lamp socket is mounted vertically on alignment pins such that the lamp’s filament can be properly centered on the front light exit port for optimum light output efficiency. The front light exit port includes one 1” fused silica collimating lens to output parallel rays. The lamp and external power supply are sold separately.

In addition, each time it is turned on it requires the power supply to ignite it with a 20,000V+ spark. THe best option for performing exposure testing is to integrate an electronic shutter system inside the beam homogenizer. The electronic shutter is computer controlled with an activation time of <150ms. Software for the shutter controller is included with this item. The standard shutter controller connects to a computer via RS232. RS232-USB converters are available and work with this product. In addition to computer control the shutter can be controlled via a toggle switch on the shutter controller box.

This shutter can be used with any high powered light source and can effectivley block a 5" diameter beam. See the brochure information for a mounting pattern.
