    Filter Option

    Neutral density wire mesh filter, transmitting a percentage of incident light, mounted in an FT style holder. These filters are robust to high-powered applications (such as solar simulation), do not affect the non-uniformity of the target, and transmission is spectrally flat. Please select the desired transmission percentage for your application.

    Each filter is mounted in an FT-style filter holder (compatible with most Sciencetech solar simulators and FB-style filter boxes).

    Please note that for some simulator models the same filter is used to supply an AM1.5G spectral match. Purchasing separate AM1.5G and AM1.5D filters for the same model simulator may not provide a different spectrum.

It can be operated either horizontally or vertically but horizontal operation is preferable due to potential risk of air gap in the light path. Aluminum provides superior heat transfer compared to stainless steel but should not be used in corrosive environments.
