The AM0 spectrum simulates the solar spectrum just outside Earth’s atmosphere, where there is very little atmosphere-related absorption of solar radiation. If the filter is not intended to be used with a Sciencetech solar simulator, the product line "None" may be selected, but the spectral output cannot be guaranteed when paired with a non-Sciencetech source.

It includes both direct light from the sun, and the diffuse light that is scattered by the atmosphere. As a result, this filter simulates the total radiation, known as global radiation, which reaches the ground.

This assembly is a customizable F/# matched, 1" diameter, double lens assembly.
The Lens material selected will be Fused Quartz or Fused Silica depending on availability. Best used in the spectral range 250-2500nm

The CON1 lens assemblies are designed to accept collimated light and produce a focused beam at the intended target location
Please specify the required F/# at time of ordering. F/# can be set from F/0.8 to F/10.0

Sciencetech cold mirrors reflect visible energy and transmit the infrared (heat energy). The cold mirrors are vacuum deposited and all dielectric.
UV cold mirror is specially designed to reflect more than 95% average of ultra-violet rays from 350-450nm and transmit more than 90% average 550-1200nm at 45 degrees angle of incidence. Custom angles of incidence can be designed to specification.
