This standard optical liquid filter is equipped with fused quartz windows (270 to 2500 nm) which transmit UV light. This allows it to be used for UV applications. Can be operated either horizontally or vertically but horizontal operation is preferable due to potential risk of air gap in the light path. Stainless steel provides superior corrosion resistance compared to aluminum for corrosive liquids.
