Sciencetech's (SCP-MP-G) is a micropositioning probe station with a magnetic base and a gold-plated spring probe. It utilizes micrometer heads for accurate repeatable adjustment. 0.5” is the magnitude of fine adjustment for this probe.

Couples a 1/4" Fiber bundle to the output port of a standard series monochromator. The coupler mounts to a standard series slit assembly such as an SS-80 or SS-82 slit.
The fiber is positioned close to the slit output to couple as much light as possible into the slit.
There is no optical coupling between the fiber and slit.

Sciencetech's 120-9045 high speed shutter is a recommended accessory with Sciencetech's area scan CCD detectors, but can also be used with Sciencetech's LDA photodiodes or InGaAs linear array detectors. This shutter mounts inside a Sciencetech spectrograph behind the input port. Due to its sturdy steel construction, it can withstand approximately 5W/mm^2 (up to about 200 degrees Celsius). This product includes both the shutter and the controller, and can be either manually controlled (via externally mounted button) or computer controlled.

Sciencetech deuterium power supplies produce the high stability, high output, and long service life required for deuterium lamps for spectrophotometry.
A deuterium lamp uses a tungsten filament and anode placed on opposite sides of a nickel box structure designed to produce an optimal output spectrum. Unlike an incandescent bulb, the filament is not the source of light in deuterium lamps.
Instead an arc is created from the filament to the anode, a similar process to arc lamps. Because the filament must be very hot before it can operate, it is heated for approximately twenty seconds before use.
The discharge process produces its own heat, and so the heater is turned down after discharge begins. Although firing voltages are typically 600 volts, once the arc is created voltages drop to around 60-100 volts.

It has a manual wavelength selector dial with an optional external motor drive for computerized control. The compact design is made possible by its Seya-Namioka optical layout, using a single holographic concave grating and f/3.2 aperture. A pair of removable fixed-width slits are included for the input and output ports. Several removable fixed slit width sizes are available to choose from ranging from 100 μm to 3 mm width. Additional removable slits and custom width slits can also be purchased separately.
Mirror coatings have been chosen for this model to enhance performance in the UV-VIS region.
There are 5 grating choices (sold separately) covering from UV to near-IR; choose a UV to VIS range to pair with the UV-VIS mirror coatings on this model. The 9030 monochromator cannot be used as a spectrograph and therefore only accepts single channel and PMT detectors at its output port.
