(SC-1) Compact Sample Chamber
This sample chamber has one input port and two output ports. One of the output ports is 90° relative to the input port, allowing it to be used in fluorescence-type applications. The other output port is directly across from the input port, allowing it to be used for transmission measurements/applications. The lid of the sample chamber can be removed, exposing the built-in cuvette holder inside. This cuvette holder holds 10 × 10mm cuvettes. Optionally, the cuvette holder can be upgraded to a thin film holder capable of mounting 20 × 20mm samples. We recommend talking with one of Sciencetech's technical sales staff to determine if the thin film holder will be sufficient for your particular application. The sample chamber dimensions are 205 × 128 × 154mm (8"× 5"× 6").
Please note that this sample chamber does not include any built-in optics for focusing and defocusing light onto the sample, as the light beam through the chamber is anticipated to be collimated. Such focusing and defocusing optics are part of the optical coupling tubes that connect the sample chamber to various external components, such as to a light source or monochromator.

The CTBT-RF is designed to work with Sciencetech's line of SS solar simulators (between 500W and 2.5kW). The CTBT-RF is designed to hold 3" x 4" cold mirrors. (BBT-30) Broadband Thermopile Detector - (30mW to 30W)
This Broadband Thermopile Detector allows the measurement of total broadband radiation emitted by a light source. It could also be used to measure the light power density on a surface (in W/cm2) which is particularly useful for uniformity measurements and for checking solar simulator performance. This detector has a 19mm diameter sensor and picks up all wavelengths between 190-11μm (UV-VIS-IR). Please note that this detector head requires either an external display controller or computer interface (sold separately) to show the measured power. The price shown includes the detector head, post, post holder, and base only. (1mW NEP).
This thermopile is recommended for high-powered light sources (such as focused 500W + arc lamps) and concetrator solar simulators (5 Suns +, 500 mW/cm2).
