Sciencetech Vacuum Grade C230X Polarizing Chopper
The Sciencetech Polarizing variable frequency optical chopper is used with the detectors during Martin-Puplett mode. The chopper is positioned in front of the output port, and captures the output at 45 degrees from the two planes of polarization. This facilitates the retrieval of the Fourier Transform Interferogram during M-P mode. The chopper itself is designed for high stability and a broad range of frequency control (from 0.5Hz to 100Hz). The price includes the servo motor and software controller.

This slit holder is required when using the fixed slits designed for the 9030 (Product Numbers 120-9010, 120-9011, 120-9012, 120-9013, 120-9033, and 120-9034). This slit holder comes with one fixed width slit from these options. Only one slit holder is required per input/output; different slits can be exchanged using the same slit holder. Sciencetech's 120-9045 high speed shutter is a recommended accessory with Sciencetech's area scan CCD detectors, but can also be used with Sciencetech's LDA photodiodes or InGaAs linear array detectors. This shutter mounts inside a Sciencetech spectrograph behind the input port. Due to its sturdy steel construction, it can withstand approximately 5W/mm^2 (up to about 200 degrees Celsius). This product includes both the shutter and the controller, and can be either manually controlled (via externally mounted button) or computer controlled.

The CTBT-RF is designed to work with Sciencetech's line of SS solar simulators (between 500W and 2.5kW). The CTBT-RF is designed to hold 3" x 4" cold mirrors. A heat sink is mounted behind the dichroic turning mirror to capture transmitted light. The CTBT-RF turns the beam 90 degrees from the standard horizontal output.

(SSES-S) Shutter for Small Series Solar Simulators
An arc lamp is not designed to be frequently turned off and on and doing so will dramatically lower its service life. In addition, each time it is turned on it requires the power supply to ignite it with a 20,000V+ spark. The best option for performing exposure testing is to integrate an electronic shutter system inside the beam homogenizer. The electronic shutter is computer controlled with an activation time of <150ms. Software for the shutter controller is included with this item. The standard shutter controller connects to a computer via RS232. RS232-USB converters are available and work with this product. In addition to computer control, the shutter can be controlled via an interface on the power supply.
This shutter can be used with any mid-ranged powered light source and can effectivley block a 3" diameter beam. See the brochure information for a mounting pattern.
The shutter can also be controlled through Sciencetech's touch screen power supplies, including automated opening and closing of the shutter as well as preprogrammed exposure times. Ask your authorized Sciencetech technical sales staff member if you are uncertain whether your system includes one of our new power supplies.
Please note that leaving the shutter closed for extremely long periods of time while the arc lamp is on may cause damage to the motorized components.

This is a single fixed width slit for Sciencetech's 9030 monochromators. It can also be used with any other model monochromator, but requires a SS-F slit holder (120-9046) for each input/output. Multiple slits can be exchanged using a single slit holder.
Please note that the Model 9030 monochromator already includes a pair of removable fixed width slits.
The slit height is 8mm. The slit width is 3mm.
