Many systems require choppers for modulating signals (either inputs or outputs, depending on the system and detector, and the specific needs for modulation for the system). A chopper is normally the most effective way to do this.
However, the chopper normally requires a housing to hold the chopper in the proper position in the system. This particular housing is designed to allow a chopper to be mounted to either the input or output port of a Sciencetech monochromator or spectrograph.
If you have any questions about how this mounting may affect your system, please speak with your authorized Sciencetech technical sales staff member.

This hot mirror filters out IR light to remove thermal heat on the target. However, standard hot mirrors also remove UV light as a side-effect which mean it cannot be used in UV applications. This special hot mirror removes IR light between 730-1100nm while preserving UVA and UVB light (280-400nm) in addition to visible light. This filter is ideal for Sciencetech UV solar simulators where the filtering of thermal heat on the target is desired and preservation of UVA and UVB light is required.FT
This filter is intended for use at 0 degree angle of incidence.

This filter is mounted in Sciencetech FT style filter mount with a 76.2mm diameter clear aperture.

Please note this filter does not eliminate all thermal heat in the IR range as this filter stops at 1,100nm. Hence IR heat beyond 1,100nm still pass through. To remove more IR light see Sciencetech's range of IR water filters or contact a Sciencetech application scientist to learn about other options.

This 12-bit data aquisition module features 3 analog inputs via BNC connectors. The data aquisition board is 12Bit and can measure a single channel up to 50Ks/S. An additional BNC connector for a trigger input can be used to time measurements and/or send signals to external hardware such as a high speed shutter.

This module includes 1 BNC cable and 1 USB cable so that it is ready to interface with a single channel detector such as a PMT or UVSi photodiode detector (sold seperatley). For spectroscopy systems the Sci-Spec Windows application software to interface with a Windows Based PC is required and is sold separately.

This module is wired for single ended input for +/-10V input range. This module can be wired for differential inputs upon request.
For most single channel data aquisition options where differential inputs are not required the SCI-DAS-12USB-LS option is a suitable and economical option.

multi-channel dataaquisition is possible using SciSpec software, if this option is required please speak to a Sciencetech technical sales representative.
