This Fiber Bundle Coupler mates a Sciencetech Beam Condensing Assembly or Light Source Optical Coupling Unit to the input end of a fiber bundle such that the light collected is focused into the fiber bundle with great efficiency. The Fiber Bundle Coupler screws onto the output end of the Beam Condensing Assembly or Light Source Coupling Unit. Once screwed on, the input tip of the fiber bundle would be positioned at the output focal spot for optimum light collection.

This SMA Fiber Coupler mates a Sciencetech 2" Beam Condensing Assembly (such as IO2 model condensors) to the input end of an SMA fiber such that the light collected is focused into the SMA fiber tip with great efficiency. The SMA Fiber Coupler screws onto the output end of the 2" Beam Condensing Assembly. Once screwed on, the input tip of the fiber bundle is positioned at the output focal spot for optimum light collection. This assembly also includes an X-Y optical coupler that can be used to couple beam line components and allows for independent adjustment of +-3mm along each of two orthogonal axis. There are two flange sizes of the Fiber Bundle Coupler available to match the 1 and 2 inch diameter sizes of the Beam Condensing Assembly. Please note that the SMA Fiber Coupler should not be used on its own without the beam condensing assembly as otherwise the light collection efficiency from the light source is very low.

Four filter sort order filter set covers a spectral 200-1600nm range (UV-NIR).
Order sorting filters are used with diffractive equipment such as monochromators to filter out harmonic diffractive orders.
This absorbing glass sort order filter set provides modest harmonic blocking for spectroscopy systems.

Filters are 1" diameter

Note: absorbing glass type filters may exhibit flourescence. These filters cannot be used with high power light sources

The SH-2-B-OF is a computer controlled shutter for 201, LH-S, XLH-S lamp houses and SF solar simulators. Based on the successful SSES lines of blade shutters for Sciencetech's line of high powered solar simulators.
An arc lamp is not designed to be frequently turned off and on and doing so will dramatically lower its service life. In addition, each time it is turned on it requires the power supply to ignite it with a 20,000V+ spark. THe best option for performing exposure testing is to integrate an electronic shutter system inside the beam homogenizer. The electronic shutter is computer controlled with an activation time of <150ms. Software for the shutter controller is included with this item. The standard shutter controller connects to a computer via RS232. RS232-USB converters are available and work with this product. In addition to computer control the shutter can be controlled via a toggle switch on the shutter controller box.

This shutter can be used with any high powered light source and can effectively block a 2" diameter beam. See the brochure information for a mounting pattern.
This shutter is open frame and the shutter mechanism is exposed. For an enclosed shutter please see the SH-XLH-B product.

This device can be controlled through Sciencetech's touch screen power supplies (including automated exposure time control).
Please note leaving the shutter closed for extremely long periods of time while the arc lamp is on may cause damage to the motorized components.

This option for SS0.5K, SS1.0K and SS1.6K solar simulators makes the solar simulator vertical standing. The base is fitted with castors so that the simulator can be easily moved. This option is very useful if the simulator location may be changed from time to time. With this option the output from the solar simulator will be parallel to the floor it is standing on.
