An imaging 1/2 meter monochromator/spectrograph. It has an f/8 aperture and a 2D flat field output for multi-channel use. It has a nominal resolution of 0.1 nm.
Special toroidal mirror makes additional astigmatism correction. This spectrograph provides superior image quality
The unique layout with toroidal mirrors is optimized for minimum coma while allowing high throughput and minimum stray light and vignetting. This option only applies to f/8 triple turrell with 50x50 mm grating holder

In the 9072DA, the inbound light is dispersed by the first grating then passed through a fixed intermediate slit where stray light is rejected and then spectrally dispersed again by the second grating.

The double dispersion of the double additive monochromators results in a doubling of the dispersion of a single monochromator, leading to better optical resolution. The bandpass is half that of a single 9072 monochromator.

One SS-80 slit is included, which can be attached to either the input or output port. A second slit can be added to the order if desired.
The fixed slit is not included in the 9072DA and can be selected from any of Sciencetech's SF-series of fixed slits and added to the order.
Gratings and grating holders are not included. The 9072DA accommodates 30 × 30 mm gratings, with up to three gratings per turret. Two of each selected grating must be purchased to fill both monochromators. One grating holder is required for each grating.

In the 9072DS, the grating in the second monochromator is arranged such that it reverses the spectral dispersion of the first monochromator. This leads to a spectrally homogenized beam at the output port of the second monochromator and greatly reduced stray light, ideal for spectroradiometry, Raman or UV measurements of solar radiation.
The arrangement of the 9072DS allows it to act either as a tunable bandpass filter or a tunable notch filter. Arranged as a tunable bandpass filter the bandpass of the device is determined by the width of an intermediate slit. When arranged as a tunable notch filter the width of the notch is determined by the physical width of an opaque notch placed at the intermediate slit position.
The 9072DS can also be used to pass or filter out several selected wavelengths by using a custom intermediate multi-slit mask instead of a single width intermediate slit.

9072S is a small 1/8m scanning monochromator. The 9072S uses plane gratings 30mm x 30mm in size and utilizes a Czerny Turner optical configuration. The 9072S is designed to be used with single channel detectors or connected to another 9072S to form a double additive or subtractive system. The base 9072S system has a triple grating turret which is computer controlled. 4-grating turret is optional.

Gratings and Grating Holders (120-8512) are sold separately.
The 9072S is compatible with SS80 and SS84 adjustable slits and SS-F fixed slits. Comes with the adjustable slit.
It includes Sci-mono software for basic wavelength control. Our fully-featured spectroscopy package, SciSpec, is sold separately.

For applications requiring better signal to noise, reduced stray light and better resolution than the standard model a double additive model (9072DA) is available.
For applications requiring a tunable bandpass or notch filter light source, the double subtractive model (9072DS) is an ideal choice.

The 9150 is Sciencetech's longest single path length monochromator with a 1.5 m focal length. Under optimum conditions with a 2400 l/mm grating it can achieve a resolution of 0.004 nm in single pass mode. This model of monochromator accomodates a grating on a removable kinematic mount, allowing the user to manually swap one grating for another without losing alignment. Please note that this product includes one slit, but does not include any additional slits or a grating. These must be purchased separately. The 9150 is Sciencetech's largest monochromator with a 1.5m focal length. Under optimum conditions with a 2400 l/mm grating it can achieve a resolution of 0.004 nm in single pass mode. 9150SD includes an optical module that allows the unit to be configured in a double pass mode as well, effectively doubling the focal length to 3m and achievable resolution to 0.002 nm. It utilizes large 102 x 102 mm gratings for high light throughput (f/12 aperture). The 9150SD accommodates one grating on a removable, kinematic mount that allows the user to manually swap one grating for another without losing alignment.

This is an Echelle Spectrometer designed for diffraction limit operation, that provides a full spectrum coverage without gaps over a tunable 150nm range at a resolution of ~2pm in single pass mode. The spectrometer uses two gratings, two 1.5m f.l. parabolic reflectors and a corrector lens to produce a cross-dispersed echellegram that is recorded on a 3k x 3k cooled CCD camera with 12u pixels, at a dispersion of 1 pm/pixel. The long, thin echellegram is fit to the square CCD format using a 3 section image slicer, to maximize wavelength coverage and resolution.
Input optics include a micrometer adjustable rectangular input slit and a computer controlled source selector that can switch between four available input ports, useful in calibration.
Operational specifications are (for 31.5 l/mm 150x50 mm echelle, single pass)

With a 2400 l/mm grating it can achieve resolutions better than 0.01 nm in the standard single pass configuration. This version uses 64 x 64 mm gratings for an aperture of f/13. By default the monochromator comes with a single grating kinematic mount. Users can manually swap one grating for another without losing alignment. An optional motorized 3-grating turret is available for automatic grating selection without opening the housing. The 9490 has a flat field output allowing it to operate as a spectrograph using a linear array, multi-channel detector to capture the entire output spectrum continuously. Sciencetech provides a selection of 1" wide CCDs and photo-diode linear array detectors mounted on a multi-axis adjustable focusing platform for use with the 9490.
Some models of the 9490 can be updgraded to dual pass operation (-DP). With the -DP dual pass upgrade option even higher resolution is available by switching to a "double pass" configuration that effectively doubles the focal length to 2m.

The 9490 is Sciencetech's second largest monochromator, with a 1m focal length. It can achieve resolutions as high as 0.017nm in its standard "single pass" configuration with a 1200 l/mm grating. Up to twice that resolution is possible with the "double pass" configuration. This model of the 9490 allows the user to switch between the two modes seamlessly by shifting the position of a set of mirrors (easily done by rotating a single knob).
