(SH-XLH-B) Shutter for XLH Lamp House, 2" Diameter Clear Aperture
The SH-XLH-B is a computer controlled shutter for 201, LH-S, XLH-S lamp houses and SF/SLB solar simulators. Based on the successful SSES lines of blade shutters for Sciencetech's line of high powered solar simulators.
An arc lamp is not designed to be frequently turned off and on and doing so will dramatically lower its service life. In addition, each time it is turned on it requires the power supply to ignite it with a 20,000 V+ spark. The best option for performing exposure testing is to integrate an electronic shutter system with the lamp house or solar simulator. This electronic shutter has an activation time of <150 ms.
The SH-XLH-B can be controlled using Sciencetech PS-XE-series of computer-controlled touchscreen power supplies (e.g PS-XE300-A-T). This includes automated exposure time control. Manual models of the PS-XE (e.g. PS-XE300-A-M) cannot control this shutter. Alternatively, a shutter controller model SH-C and SCI-SHUTTER Software are available for controlling the shutter. The SH-C controller is not included with this shutter.
This shutter can be used with any high powered light source and can effectively block a 2" diameter beam.
This shutter is closed frame and the shutter mechanism is not exposed. For an open frame shutter please see the SH-2-B-OF product.

(SS-84) Bilaterally High Resolution Adjustable Slit
This is a high resolution slit designed to have 10 um resolution. The slits are manufactured from stainless steel to maximize mechanical accuracy. The height of the SS-84 slit can also be adjusted between 0-10 mm, 10-20 mm and 20-30 mm through built-in manual curtain sliders.
Please note that these slits are not designed to maximize throughput for extremely high resolution monochromators, due to the straight orientation of the slits. For maximum resolution, the slits need to be designed on a curve that corresponds to the curvature of the point of least confusion. However, this is only a significant factor for systems with optical pathlengths of 1m and greater. Please speak with your authorized Sciencetech technical sales staff member if you need maximum resolution for a long pathlength system.

(BBT-30) Broadband Thermopile Detector - (30mW to 30W)
This Broadband Thermopile Detector allows the measurement of total broadband radiation emitted by a light source. It could also be used to measure the light power density on a surface (in W/cm2) which is particularly useful for uniformity measurements and for checking solar simulator performance. This detector has a 19mm diameter sensor and picks up all wavelengths between 190-11μm (UV-VIS-IR). Please note that this detector head requires either an external display controller or computer interface (sold separately) to show the measured power. The price shown includes the detector head, post, post holder, and base only. (1mW NEP).
This thermopile is recommended for high-powered light sources (such as focused 500W + arc lamps) and concentrator solar simulators (5 Suns +, 500 mW/cm2).

(AMF-AM1.5G) AM1.5G Air Mass Filter
An AM1.5G filter compatible with Sciencetech solar simulators, including FT-style filter holder. Filter clear aperture is a diameter of 76 mm (3"). Please select the product line the filter is intended to be used with to ensure the proper spectral output.
If the filter is not intended to be used with a Sciencetech solar simulator, the product line "None" may be selected, but the spectral output cannot be guaranteed when paired with a non-Sciencetech source.
AM1.5G simulates the terrestrial solar spectrum on the ground when the sun is at a zenith angle of 48.2°. It includes both direct light from the sun, and the diffuse light that is scattered by the atmosphere. As a result, this filter simulates the total radiation, known as global radiation, which reaches the ground.

(SCI-DAS-16USB) 16-bit ADC Data Acquisition, up to 50 kS/s, 3 Analog Inputs, 1 Multipurpose Digital Input/Output
This data acquisition module features 3 analog inputs via BNC connectors. The data acquisition board is 16-bit and can measure a single channel up to 50 kS/s. An additional BNC connector for a multi-purpose digital input/output can be used to time measurements and/or send signals to external hardware such as a high speed shutter.
This module includes 1 BNC cable and 1 USB cable so that it is ready to interface with a single channel detector such as a PMT or Si photodiode detector (sold separately). For spectroscopy systems the SciSpec Windows application software to interface with a Windows Based PC is required and is sold separately.
Multi-channel data acquisition is possible using SciSpec software, if this option is required please speak to a Sciencetech technical sales representative.
