Sciencetech's proprietary wideband detector design comes packaged in our standard "hockey puck" enclosure (2" diameter x 1" high) and is connectorized to be powered directly from the Stanford SR-810/830 type lock-in amplifiers,
The spectral range is limited by high density polyethylene window.
The detector WILL saturate on the visible light from the lamp. After alignment, cover the entire input opening of the detector head with thin black polyethylene to prevent undesired visible light from overloading the detector.
This detector is suitable for direct connection to Stanford SR-830 lockin preamp power. When using the Stanford lock-in, the signal overload indicator will light just before the detector saturates.The SCIDTGS-PE detector is suitable for testing FTIR alignment and material transmission measurements without special cooling.
Upon installation, the optical system MUST be re-aligned to image the iris of the light source onto the detector element. This may require rotating the entire detector head to an optimum position and/or adjusting mirrors and re-focusing.

The SCI-SCC6-TE cell chuck is an economical way of providing temperature control and electrical connection to your test cells. It has a conductive tin-plated copper base plate (gold plating available) and is compatible with all of Sciencetech's probe systems. The cell chuck is capable of vacuum hold-down (vacuum pump sold separately) and has thermoelectric cooling elements that can heat or cool your test cells from dew point to 60 ºC.

The 611-1.6k is designed to power 1600W Xenon and Hg-Xenon arc lamps. The 611-6k power supply is CE compliant.
The 611 power supply includes a touchscreen interface and several useful built in components:

This four slot filter-wheel was originally designed for the US military to work in a 10^(-7) Torr vacuum environment. Today, a standard non-vacuum version and the original vacuum version are available. The vacuum version can be manufactured in a Class 10,000 clean room, fully baked out, and meets Class A cleanliness standards, at a small additional cost. Please note that the optional external control electronics is not designed to operate in a vacuum. It must operate in ambient pressure environment.

The Sciencetech Polarizing variable frequency optical chopper is used with the detectors during Martin-Puplett mode. The chopper is positioned in front of the output port, and captures the output at 45 degrees from the two planes of polarization. This facilitates the retrieval of the Fourier Transform Interferogram during M-P mode. The chopper itself is designed for high stability and a broad range of frequency control (from 0.5Hz to 100Hz). The price includes the servo motor and software controller.
