Sciencetech utilizes a proprietary addressing system in its model MD-100 Universal Stepper Motor Controller that allows a computer's RS-232 serial port to control up 4 devices. With this junction connector, up to four MD-100 Universal Stepper Motor Controllers can be connected to a common RS-232 serial port. Sciencetech's Sci-LDA, Sci-Spec and Active-X software all adhere to this addressing system.
