Sciencetech's Linear Array InGaAs detector systems are specifically designed for near-infrared spectroscopy applications in the 900-1700nm range. They can also be used for radiation thermometry and optical fiber transmittance measurements. These detector systems include everything to get going from the linear InGaAs sensor array, detector head, power supply, data acquisition system including PC interface, cables and real-time data acquisition software with Active-X controls. Sciencetech's InGaAs detector systems are the most economical and easy way to integrate near infrared detection solutions for new and existing flat field spectrographs and monochromators. Please note the sensors have a linear width of 12.8mm and thus may not span the entire spectral field of view of some monochromators.

Spectrograph/Monochromator Compatibility
Sciencetech InGaAs near infrared detectors can be mounted on the exit port of any flat field spectrograph/monochromator, not just those manufactured by Sciencetech. Custom adapter plates are available for mating Sciencetech InGaAs detectors to non-Sciencetech spectrographs and monochromators.
Please note the sensors have a linear width of 12.8mm and thus may not span the entire spectral field of view of some monochromators.

SciLDA software for Windows
Windows based software package for spectrograph with multichannel detector. Includes automatic control of grating position for motorized monochromator real time display of signal. Acquires, displays and stores multiple spectra (limited only by computer memory). Real time averaging and background subtraction. Burst mode for high-speed data acquisition.

A/D Data Acquisition Board,
For ambient temperature non-cooled detectors, the standard 12-bit A/D board is recommended. The A/D Data acquisition board occupies one PCI slot inside a Windows based PC computer and can digitize the detector’s analog signal in real-time.

The 12-bit PCI A/D board comes with Windows Drivers and software interface to Sciencetech’s SciSpec, Sci-LDA, and Active-X Component Libraries. It has 16 single ended (or 8 differential) 12-bit A/D channels operating at 250kHz with burst mode capability and conversion time of 3µs. The detector analog signal can be scaled to 10V, 5V, 2.5V, 1.25V with a gain of 1X,2X,4X, 8X (both scale and gain are software selectable) and is transfered through a 1024 sample FIFO buffer to assure no data is lost. The A/D board also has 24 digital I/O channels, and three 16-bit counters for use with multi-channel detectors and Sciencetech detector shutter control.
