This external power supply is capable of driving both Xe and Hg-Xe arc lamps up to 1,600W. This power supply is adjustable between 500-1700W allowing for fine tuning of power through the lamp. There is a LCD display to show the power setting in Watts. The power supply auto selects the voltage and current between Xe and HgXe lamps and requires 200-240VAC input voltage. This power supply has an external igniter and is compatible with FS-02 optical feedback unit.

Lamp Cable Connection

The power supply cables have Superior Electric Supercon PS50GR/PS50GB connector ends for mating with Sciencetech models 200-1K and 201-1K arc lamp housings which uses Superior Electric RP50GB/RP50GR terminals. Please note that the connectors on these lamp cables are female for safety reasons. The lamp housing terminals have recessed male terminals.

Warning for Use in North America

Please note that this power supply requires 200-240VAC (50 or 60Hz). All North American facilities are equipped with 115VAC and 220VAC. If no 220VAC receptacles are available, it is easy to convert the 115VAC receptacle to a standard 220VAC/15A connection. Contact your local electrician for help.
