Colour Filters

Colour FiltersColour filters are often used in color imaging applications by placing them in front of a white broadband light source. Sciencetech supports Red, Green, Blue filters as well as Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Filters. These filters are dichroic based meaning the unwanted wavelengths are reflected back rather than absorbed. The Blue, Cyan, Green, Magenta, Red and Yellow filters are unmounted and hence needs to be purchased with a slide if used in Sciencetech FH (or similar class) filter holder box. They are round, not square. The 72" filters are to be used with the FWF-4 Filter Wheel and come in a threaded mount.
