Cooling
Although hot mirrors reflect and transmit close to 100% of the light energy, it still absorbs a small amount of light. Forced air cooling is therefore recommended for high power applications.

Extended Heat Version
Extended heat versions reflect a larger IR spectrum than regular hot mirror versions. Typical Hot Mirrors only reflects 750-1250nm, whereas extended heat versions reflects 750-1750nm. This reduces more heat removed from the system.
