12-bit Data Acquisition AD Board

A PCI data acquisition board is required to digitize the detector signal into the computer and control its shutter (if available). Sciencetech’s 12-bit Data Acquisition System consist of a BNC to ribbon cable connector for data connection to the detector, a 12-bit A/D PCI data acquisition board, and Sciencetech’s Windows based SCI-SPEC or Sci-LDA software application to display and save digitized detector data in real-time. The detector head is connected to the BNC to Ribbon cable which is then connected to the 12-bit A/D PCI data acquisition board inside a Windows based computer’s available PCI slot. A 16-bit A/D is also available for cooled detectors in sensitive low noise applications. This board can also control the Uniblize shutter using Sciencetech's Read-LDA Active-X software and a separate BNC connector (included).

Operating Systems
This PCI AD board works in Win 98/2000/XP. Sciencetech's Sci-Spec, Sci-LDA, Read-LDA Active-X, and Read-Detector Active-X software work with this AD board through these operating systems.

Shutter Control Version
This PCI AD Board is also capable of controlling an internal shutter. Sciencetech's Sci-LDA software already has this shutter feature built in, and so does the Sciencetech Read-LDA Active-X software. If Sci-LDA software is required, it must be purchased separately. Sciencetech Read-LDA Active X software and cable are included with the AD Data acquisition option.

BNC Connector Interface
Please note that the AD Board on its own does not have a BNC connector for interfacing to the analog detector or optional shutter. A BNC cable (different for detector or shutter) must be purchased separately.
