Calibrated Spectral Flux Standard QTH Lamp

SKU: SCL-600

The SCL-600 spectral flux standards are available as the calibration source for the Spectral Lamp Measurement System. The SCL-600 standard is a 35 Watt spectrally calibrated QTH light source.

Following the recommendations of national laboratories for photometric calibration, calibrated spectral flux standards are sold in sets of three screened and seasoned lamps. The use of three lamps prolongs the useful life of each lamp standard, since they may be used interchangeably. Additionally, the multiple lamp set allows the user to check the lamps against each other to verify calibration data over time, and to determine if any damage has occurred during handling and shipping. Calibrated spectral flux standards are also sold individually. A calibration certificate verifying traceability to national laboratory standards is provided for each lamp.

When purchased as a set, the lamp standards are packaged in a protective box, accompanied by a lamp socket and mounting hardware. The hardware included in the flux standard sets consists of a socket, cable and mounting rod to center the lamp filament at the sphere center. The lamp socket, in each case, is selected to match the size of the standards.

The data from spectral flux standard calibrations is reported in the calibration certificate and in electronic format for each lamp in spectral radiant flux units of W/nm. Electronic data for each individual lamp is written to a text file on a floppy disk in the format required by the SLMS software.
