Coupling Tube for 201-1K Series Arc Lamp Housing to Sample Chamber

Main Features:
  • Black anodized aluminum construction
  • Comes with two filter holders, each capable of holding a 1 to 6 mm thick substrate:
    1. 2" diameter or a 2" square filter
    2. 1" diameter or a 1" square filter
  • The design allows for flexibility with respect to filter hear dissipation and cost
  • A cut-out enables the use of a chopper at the monochromator end
  • An internal baffle has been introduced at the monochromator end to minimize exterior light entry
SKU: CTC-2INCH

The output beam of the 201-100 and 201-1K arc lamp housings are collimated and hence can be directly coupled to a sample chamber without any optical elements. This is because the sample chamber accepts collimated light. To couple these light sources to a sample chamber, the light source horizontal bracket is required (sold separately) to lower its optical height, but the 2” beam condensing assembly (CON2-2L) that is typically used to couple into a fiber or monochromator is not required. This 2" diameter coupling tube has no lens inside. It does have a flange on its output end to mate to the sample chamber.

The Sciencetech model CT coupling tube correctly spaces our arc lamp housing (using an f/4.5 reflector) to any of our monochromators or spectrometers. The CTC model coupling tube is for use with the 200 W source to sample chamber.
