This sample chamber has one input port and three output ports. Two of the output ports are 90° to the input port, allowing it to be used in fluorescence or doble source excitation type applications. The other output port is directly across from the input port allowing it to be used in transmission type applications. The lid of the sample chamber can be removed, thus exposing the built-in cuvette holder inside. This cuvette holder holds 10 x 10mm size cuvettes. The holder can also be removed and replaced with an optional standard thin film holder for solid samples (included). This sample chamber does include a built-in collimating optics for one excitation port with UV optics. Some technical specifications are required in order to insure that this optics will properly operate in your particular use. The light beam through the chamber is anticipated to be collimated and therefore no additional optics is included. Such focusing and defocusing optics is part of the optical coupling tubes that connects the sample chamber to various external pieces such as a light source and monochromator.
 
Cuvette Holder The sample chamber has a holder for standard 10mm path length cuvettes inside. Such cuvettes typically have an outer dimension of 12.5 x 12.5 x 45mm (L x W x H) and is accessible by removing the sample chamber's top lid. This holder can be replaced with a thin film holder.
 
Coupling Tubes Please note this sample chamber does not include any built-in focusing and defocusing optics onto the sample as the light beam through the chamber is anticipated to be collimated. Such focusing and defocusing optics is part of the optical coupling tubes that connects the sample chamber to various external pieces such as a light source and monochromator.
