This spectrophotometer has two input light sources to cover a wide spectral range from UV to IR. The light is then filtered through a high resolution 250mm monochromator before entering a sample chamber that is setup for both cuvette and thin film samples. A highly sensitive PMT detector is mounted at the output port. This system includes a chopper and lock-in amplifier system to improve IR signal to noise.
