    (FLASH-ST) Pulse Stretcher Unit

    The Sciencetech FLASH-ST pulse stretcher is capable of stretching flash pulses from Sciencetech's standard 120VAC or 220VAC flash power supplies. The FLASH-ST can produce pulses with an intensity stability of +/- 5% over a 3ms temporal width. This pulse stretcher will reduce the peak intensity by 25% as it spreads the energy produced by the lamp over a wider time. Sciencetech also produces flash power supplies that can produce flat top pulses over different pulse widths.     The FLASH-ST4 pulse stretcher integrates with Sciencetech flash light sources and solar simulators that operate with the 2400RS power pack.
    The stretcher is connected in-line between the power pack and the flash light source or solar simulator housing. The FLASH-ST4 stretches pulses to 4ms +/-3% stabity level.
    In most cases using the FLASH-ST4 reduces the maximum intensity level achievable by the light source. Typically maximum peak intensity levels are reduced by 1/2 of simulator or light sources peak specified Sun or intensity level.

    (SSIVT-20F) Current-Voltage Measurement System (IV Tester) - 20W Version for Flash Solar Simulators

    The SSIVT is an electrical current-voltage measurement system used to characterize photovoltaic cell performance. This current-voltage tester works by sampling various currents versus specific voltage combinations of the photovoltaic cell with a variable impedance load.

    This IV measurement system has a separate terminal interface for voltage and current measurements, and the number of sample points can be selected between 10 and 100. Each IV curve dataset is saved as a separate ASCII text file. This system includes Sciencetech’s SciRunIV software for Windows-based control. The system interfaces to PC via a RS232 port and requires a real port; USB to RS232 converters are not sufficient.

    Please note that this system includes a SSIVT-REF detector. The reference detector is an integral part of this product and is used to synchronize the peak of each flash pulse with IV measurements of the device under test.
